Sorry I didn't do a blog last week. So here's a few words about it now:
Firstly, I believe Ben went to the docks to try and find/kill Penny and got a wallop from Desmond.
Speaking of Desmond, he said to Jack, "They're playing a game and we're all pieces." That's what I'VE been saying (see Ep. 1 recap).
Lastly, they come upon Jin in Dharma gear, driving the VW so obviously they have landed on the Island in the past. But since Locke fixed The Wheel are they going to be stuck there now?
And now on to this week's episode:
We discover that Three Kings man is a guy named Ceasar and he and Ilana (the guard escorting Sayid) are working together. They seem to be well schooled on the Island as he is rooting around in an office looking for stuff.
Ilana mentions that they came upon a man in the suit who has just bought a new car from the profit he's made on your dreams oh wait that's not Steve Winwood, it's LOCKE! Wow, so he indeed has risen from the dead. Can't wait for Jack to see him.
Locke tells Cesar, "I remember dying." We know from Ep. 5 that Locke hanged himself... but why? Richard told him that in order to get the O6 back to the Island he would have to die. And Christian told him, "That's why they call it sacrifice."
We see that when Locke turned the Wheel he ended up in Tunisia, just like Ben. So with all the variables in relation to the Island and the way it works, it seems that anyone who leaves via the Wheel ends up in Africa. Hmmm, a constant for the Island.
So Locke gets hauled into a Tunisian hospital by some locals who snap his leg back into place! Ouch. He wakes up to find none other than Charles Widmore at his bedside, with Abadon lurking in the shadows.
Widmore is amazed to see Locke be the same age he was when they first met 50 years ago. Locke tells him that for him it was only four days ago. He also reveals that indeed when someone leaves the island they end up in the Tunisian desert, because that's the exit. Widmore says that he was the original leader of the Others and was exiled by Ben. So now we know why they are at odds over the Island... the question is why did they not get along?
Widmore goes on to reveal that the reason Locke needs to return to the Island is, "There's a war coming and if you're not on the Island, the wrong side will win." Whoa, war is coming? Between who and over what?
Widmore tells Ben that Abadon will take him anywhere he wants to go en route to convincing the O6 to return with him.
We discover Sayid in the Dominican Republic building houses for charity. Locke lies to Sayid about Widmore manipulating him. (Again, why are these people STILL lying to each other?!) If they would tell each other the whole truth about what's going, they would discover that Ben and Widmore are jerking them all off and they can do what they want or turn the tables on them both.
Locke finds Walt in NYC (as we knew from the previous season) but Walt tells Locke he's been seeing him in his dreams back on the Island in a suit and people are trying to hurt him. (That seems to be resurrected Locke tangling with the 316 survivors?) Ben seems to be always lurking in the background.
Locke then goes to Santa Rosa (hey that's near me) to visit Hugo. Great line when Hurley says, "Now you're dead?" Hurley also exclaims to Locke that Abadon is evil and starts to freak out, making the orderlies take him back inside. (Since he ended up on the Ajira flight can we assume it was Charlie who convinced him to go?)
Abadon tells Locke, "I help people get to where they need to get to," for Widmore and that Locke's path, "leads back to the Island."
Then all of a sudden BANG! Abadon takes three in the chest, Locke freaks out, drives away and gets in a mad car wreck. That had to be Ben, no?
Locke wakes up to a bearded Jack and freaks him out even more when he tells him hi from his dad. Locke gets all depressed and decides he should hang himself.
Just as he's about to, Ben bursts in and saves him... awwww. Not so fast Lazurus... Ben chokes him to death instead.
Ben, "I'll miss you John, I really will."
My girlfriend, "No you won't you asshole!"
Back on the Island Cesar asks the resurrected Locke to explain how the O6 disappeared from the plane when they went through the Flash. Locke plays dumb, of course. We find out that some of the 316 got hurt, including Ben, who is lying unconscious.
Locke informs Cesar that he knows him because, "He's the man that killed me."
Awesome!
So the O6, now in contact with Jin, should soon be reunited with the other Losties. Locke is now stuck with the 316 and a pair of mysterious folks who seem to be working for someone, presumably Widmore, who would've known that Locke failed to convince Sayid to go, so he had him arrested.
But are they ALL stuck on the Island in the past and if so, who will they run into?
And as for that war that's coming, again this smells like a game.
Speaking of which, can you smell Penny and Des returning to save the day?
Stay tuned.
Until next time...

Ep. 4 - The Well of Light
Let me preface my review by stating that I watched this episode on my TV that has been taken over by aliens... the picture is all F'ed up and I could not see clearly everything the whole time.
That being said... awesome episode! Lots of new and interesting reveals.
The episode opens with Sun implying that after she gets rid of Ben, she will be bringing Aaron back to Korea to be her daughter's playmate. Whoa, Sun what are you up to? Gonna get Kate out of the picture too?
We hear the broadcast of the numbers and find out that Rousseau arrived on the island in 1988. Her husband? is Robert, but who is he really? Some have said that the voice on the recording sounds an awful lot like Hurley, which would make sense but somehow I doubt it's him.
A Frenchie named Nadine goes missing and hey it's the return of the Smoke Monster... holy shit! That guy just got his arm ripped off! Awesome! Totally Awesome. That beats Sayid's kitchen knives to the back routine easily. But methinks that someone is controlling it, the way Ben did at the end of last season when he disappeared into the back room and came back with black soot all over his hands.
We see where Rousseau got her famous rifle she's been toting around forever.
Jim jumps through time, but not the Frenchies, interesting. Ultimately he catches up with Sawyer and the gang in the "present" or "past" or past participle, I don't know.
Best line of the night, possibly the series: Jin speaking in Korean, Sawyer turns to Miles to translate...
Miles, "He's Korean, I'm from Encino." I'M FROM ENCINO!!! I love it!
Charlotte knows Korean? She also says she knows Klingon. A nice nod to J.J. Abrams, who is the director of the upcoming Star Trek movie.
Down goes Charlotte! Is there a three-knockdown rule in effect on the island? She starts speaking in toungues or at least regressing to childhood/former life and babbling about Hannibal etc. She tells Jin, "Don't let them bring her (Sun) back! This place is death." Whoa nelly.
There's definitely going to be a revelation about the whole babies being born on the island thing. I mean, when Ben says to Kate "Aaron is not your baby." Is he implying it's the island's baby?
Speaking of which, where the hell is Claire?
Great moment back in the van in LA, Sun and Jack are debating who will kill Ben if he pulls a fast one, when suddenly Ben slams on the brakes and admonishes them, "I'm helping you and your friends, so if you want to shoot me go ahead." Ben don't take no shit. Great exchange:
Sun, "You said it would take half an hour to get there."
Ben, "I didn't take into account the traffic."
That's such an LA insider line and the reason why I left LA... I hate the traffic.
We discover that Charlotte was born on the island, moved to England and has been searching for it ever since. However she claims that a scary man told her never to come back otherwise she would die and that that man is Faraday... whoops. And there she goes. I will miss her beautiful red hair and blue eyes... farewell my lovely.
Locke goes into the well of light falls, snaps his leg and the rest of the Losties are left holding the rope to a sealed hole.
Locke is greeted by Christian Shepard, who is "there to help you the rest of the way." He tells him that he must find Eloise Hawking (a nod to Stephen Hawking?) the woman in LA who will help him get back with the rest of the O6. We discover that the island is flashing because after Ben turned it, it slipped off it's access. So because that wheel had been frozen for so long, that's why the island was stable all those years. But what the hell is it connected to that makes the island skip through time?
Oh, hello Desmond welcome back. "So you're here to find Daniel Faraday's mother too?"
Once again Ben manipulated the truth about Jin and the wedding ring to convince Sun to go back. Despite Jin's insistance Locke does not let her come back.
And Ben only brought back some of the O6, not all of them, so what will happen?
By the time this episode was over I think I slipped into another dimension, my damn TV is giving me seizures from all the flashing and I don't mean in the show.

Time Travel's a Bitch
Ep. III
We open back on Penny’s boat during the rescue with Jack and Kate discussing Aaron.
We discover that it was Kate’s idea to say Aaron was hers.
Jack on the lie, “I need to know you are with me.”
Kate, “I’ve always been with you.” …. Awwww how sweet.
I want to believe you Kate, but what about when you were humping Sawyer? Were you secretly wishing it was Jack?
Anyway…
Sun receives files with pics of Jack and Ben and a nice box of chocolates, what’s inside? Mmmm a Glock, they’re the tastiest of all.
Meanwhile back on the skipping Island we see Charlotte still unconscious from her seizure and Sawyer is beginning to freak out more than usual while Juliette keeps her even keel. There is definitely something behind her calm ‘tude. Like she knows something, even though she keeps asking Faraday to explain what’s going on.
Kate goes to the lawyer’s office to find out who wants Aaron and comes to find out that, “She will lose the boy.”
Back on the Island Locke says that they need to go back to the Orchid to try and make the time skipping stop. He tells Sawyer that he thinks he can do it even if it kills him, telling Sawyer, “Don’t you want her to come back?” Sawyer definitely has a soft spot for Kate and everybody knows it.
Charlotte wakes up from the seizure and at first doesn’t recognize Faraday.
Miles, “Hooray everything’s back to normal.”
Back at the hospital in LA Jack and Sayid discuss Hurley and Ben.
Sayid, “The only side Ben is on is his own.” Why won’t anyone listen to Sayid? He’s the one guy who has military training and has a clue about human behavior.
Gotta love the shot of Hurley in LA County Orange. “No one can hurt me in here.” Oh yeah? We’ll see about that. I can’t wait for the prison brawl.
Uh-oh Sayid is at it again. He beats the crap out of the fake orderly, shooting him before he even answers, I love it!
Ben tells Jack to hurry getting Kate because, “We’re running out of time.” Methinks that if they don't fix this mess soon, time will run out... literally and everything will implode.
Back on the Island the Losties comes across a mysterious beam of light.
Faraday, “Do you know when we are?” Locke is still the master of keeping info to himself that is actually critical to everyone. Why at this point are they all still lying to each other?! For Christ's sake shouldn't they be trying everything in their power to fix their sitch? Why wouldn't they all tell the group everything they know. I mean for crying out loud, Faraday is still not honest with everyone about what's going on.
We here blood curdling screaming coming from the forest. Sawyer goes to investigate and discovers Kate and Claire when she was delivering Aaron.
Calling Doctor Brown, Dr. Emmet Brown please come to the Island right away. These guys need to hear that, “If you alter the past you will mess up the space time continuum” speech he gave Marty.
Another Flash and Kate and Claire are gone. Wait a minute, why wouldn’t the girls see that Flash too? It’s as if Sawyer was looking into a window into the past from another dimension. And while he could’ve interacted with them if he wanted, he thought better of it, “What’s done is done.”
Back in LA, Kate follows the lawyer to discover who his client is that wants Aaron.
On the Island Sawyer asks Locke if he wants to fix things so he can avoid all that pain. To which Locke responds, “I needed that pain to get where I am now.” Much like the pain Jesus felt on the way to becoming the Messiah?
The Losties discover their camp and the first thing Sawyer looks for is beer. Is this guy all-American or what? They find mysterious rafts with bottled water from an Air India plane. On who might’ve brought the rafts, Sawyer says, “Other others?”
As they paddle out to the other part of the Island they are shot upon by mysterious ocean others. On not knowing what’s going on Sawyer says, “Time travel’s a bitch.”
Miles on the barrage of bullets, “I think they want their boat back.”
After another Flash saves them from the hail of gunfire, Sawyer says, “Thank you Lord!” then upon being sent into pouring rain, “I take that back!”
Jack and Kate discover that the lawyer is meeting with Claire’s mom, who they now assume is the one after Aaron. Kate begins to squirm about the situation to which Jack says, “I can fix it. Aaron is my family too.” Oh Jack is there anything you can’t fix?
We discover that in fact Claire’s mom is not after Aaron at all and doesn’t even know he exists.
We see the lawyer is working for Ben, hmmm what could that mean?...
Back on the Island Juliette’s nose bleeds after she tries to get Sawyer to open up abut how he felt seeing Kate. Too bad no one brought Kleenex to the island.
We see a group of Frenchies on a raft in the water… could this be Rousseau in the past?
They pull a guy off a plank floating and it’s… JIN! Hooray he survived the explosion on the freighter… but wait, he survived the explosion but was sent to the distant past, hmmm.
Back in LA the O6 minus Hurley convene and Kate discovers that Ben is the one after Aaron. Kate, “Why won’t you leave us alone? He’s my baby.” Ben, “Because he’s not your baby Kate.”
Sun lies in wait in the car, pulls out her Glock and presumably will go shoot Ben.
Back on the Island somewhere in the past we see Jin realize that he is with Rousseau, wow he must really be confused. He’s the only one who hasn’t been a part of all the time travel explanations because he’s been passed out on a raft.
So Sun is about to kill Ben because she blames him for killing Jin and she doesn’t know that Jin is actually alive, living as a blacksmith in the old west… oh wait a minute that’s not right.
Can Marty please roll up in the Dolorean already and fix this mess?
Until next time…
ed. note - This episode wasn't particularly exciting despite another Sayid fight and a great shot of Hurley in the orange jumpsuit. We discover that Jin is alive, which is great, but he's stuck in the past for now and his wife might just about be on the verge of committing murder in vain. Ben is up to his old tricks and Sawyer is pining for Kate. Locke wants to go turn the wheel and Juliette, well she just keeps on keepin' on.
